Problem and solution

Problem

You want an app on your customers' phones, but publishing in the App Store and Google Play means extra accounts, fees and waiting for approval. You do not always need that.

How we solve it

We build a web app that a customer adds to the home screen with one tap. It works on iPhone and Android from one codebase, looks like an app and can work without internet. If it turns out you need the stores, we know what stays and what has to be built anew.

What the service includes

This is the standard scope. In the quote you get this list in writing, and whatever you do not need drops out of the scope and the price.

Need a different scope? Describe what should be built. We will send back a list of items with a price for each.

  1. A web app designed for the phone, with an icon and a launch screen
  2. Installation from the browser on iPhone and Android, with no store accounts
  3. Offline mode for selected screens, for example a list or a data view
  4. Push notifications where the phone's system allows them
  5. User login and a panel for managing content or data

What you get

An app on the customer's phone with no store fees or approvals

One version to maintain instead of two

Fixes reach users without waiting for a store

When a PWA is enough and when it is not

A PWA is enough when the app shows data, takes requests, bookings or orders and sends simple notifications. Most often that means tools for customers of service companies, panels for a team and event apps.

It is not enough when you need full access to phone features, a presence in the App Store and Google Play as a way to win customers, or in-app purchases through the stores. Then we build a mobile app, and we say so at the start, not after the quote.

What raises the price above the starting point

The number of screens and user roles, integrations with your system, offline mode and notifications. If the app only shows information and takes requests, the project closes near the starting price.

Frequently asked questions

Not your question? Write to us, we will answer plainly.

How is a PWA different from an app in the App Store?

A PWA is installed from the browser, not from a store. It needs no developer accounts or Apple and Google approval, but has less access to phone features. For many companies that is enough, and it is cheaper.

Does a PWA work on an iPhone?

Yes. On an iPhone the user adds the app to the home screen from the Safari menu. Some features, such as notifications, work only after that and depend on the system version.

How much does a PWA cost?

From PLN 2,990 net. The price depends on the number of screens, user roles and integrations. We confirm the scope and amount in writing before we start.

Can a PWA later become an app from the stores?

Yes, but it is not copy and paste. We keep the logic, the data and the screen designs, and build the mobile app layer anew. That is why we ask before the start whether you need the stores.
