Clickable mobile app prototype
See the app on your phone before you pay for building it.
Problem and solution
You have an idea for an app, but you do not know what building it costs or whether people will understand how to use it. A quote based on an email description is a guess, and a wrong assumption shows up only after the build.
We design the screens and the paths between them and put them together into a clickable prototype that you open on your own phone. You show it to a few people and get a written scope of the build with a quote. The prototype is a separate, small step: if you stop after it, you lose what the prototype cost, not the whole project.
What the service includes
This is the standard scope. In the quote you get this list in writing, and whatever you do not need drops out of the scope and the price.
Need a different scope? Describe what should be built. We will send back a list of items with a price for each.
Request a quote- A conversation about the goal, the users and the most important tasks in the app
- Screen layout and user paths: from launch to completing the main task
- A clickable prototype to open on iPhone and Android, with nothing to install
- A test with a few people from your target group (you choose them) and a list of fixes
- A written build scope with a quote and a split into stages
What you get
You know what the build costs before you start paying for it
Wrong assumptions show up on screens, not in finished code
You get material to show to partners or an investor
Why start with a prototype
The biggest costs in apps come from changes during the build: someone notices that a screen should work differently, or that a step is missing and it changes the whole logic. In a prototype such a change is a screen fix; in a finished app it is rewriting code.
A prototype is also the cheapest way to check whether you need the app at all. Sometimes the test shows that a website or an app installed from the browser is enough. Then we say so.
What happens after the prototype
You get the prototype and a written scope. You can order the build from us, from another company, or put the project aside. The design files are yours.
How much does an app prototype cost?
A prototype costs from PLN 1,990 net. The price depends on the number of screens and on whether the app has several user roles. You get the exact amount in writing after a short conversation, before work starts.
Is a prototype already an app?
No. A prototype looks and responds like an app, but there is no working system behind it: it does not save data or send notifications. It is for testing the idea before you pay for the build.
Do I have to order the app build from you?
No. After the prototype you have a scope and a quote that you can show to other contractors, and the design files belong to you.
Can this be done for an existing app?
Yes, as a redesign of the screens, for example when users get lost in the current version. We agree the scope after looking at the app.
